Yesterday we celebrated Cinco De Mayo as anyone would, with a Guinness!
Cinco De Mayo Pour
Song: El Burrito by CuCu Diamantes & Los Tucanes de Tijuana
We tried out the “Mexican Car Bombs” and they we’re really quite yummy. After a little research it volume pills reviews appears the name Mexican Car Bomb is taken. We will rename these to “Immigrant Car Bomb”.
Immigrant Car Bomb
Immigrant Car Bomb:
1/2 Guinness Draught in a glass
Shot glass with tequila and Kahlua
Drop the shot glass in the Guinness and drink away.
Today we officially launch GuinnessPours.net. Blogger is cool and all but there it nice to have your own stand alone site. All the posts from the old blog have been ported over here.
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Celebrate with a Guinness. I was thinking of trying stores that sell electronic cigarettes to make a “Mexican Car Bomb”. My thoughts were Guinness, shot of tequila with KahlĂșa.
In that vain here is a video of a bunch of people drinking Irish Car Bombs:
We have had some amazing, unseasonably hot weather the past few days. What better way to enjoy this awesome weather than with an ice-cold Generic Cialis Guinness? I of course had to use my 250 Anniversary Stout glass. Don’t worry there is still more to blog on that topic.
It was a beautiful evening so we sat out on the deck with friends. The food was great and of course the beverages were excellent! We immediately ordered a round of the 250th anniversary Guinness to try it out. The first sip is when I noticed the change in texture due to the carbonation. It was unlike the regular Guinness I had come to know and love. The flavor however, was smooth and finished clean. I noticed a bit of sweetness within the stout (Dan and MJ said this was because I was chewing gum… perhaps they njoy npro electronic cigarette are right)
I wanted to give a special thanks to the owner of Cryan’s who bought us both a Guinness. What a great way to start the night! We now had both kinds Guinness in front of us at the table and were able to compare them.
We ended up at Mannion’s Irish Pub for a few more rounds of the 250th. We ordered our drinks and to our surprise, we got collector’s glasses! We also came away with free t-shirts and some other swag!
All in all it was a great night and we were happy to join the rest of the world to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Guinness!
This is the beginning of MJ’s video cooking career. We were inspired to make a beer bread after seeing that Guinness beer bread. This wasn’t their official mix, but it sure came top rated electronic cigarettes out well. We may need to start a MJ cooking with Guinness series.
Watch for the 2 special cameos. Always ready to lend support when there is anything happening with food.
This Pour was at The Clubhouse in Somerville, NJ. It’s not a pub pour by any means. We weren’t thrilled with the Miller Electronic Cigarettes Light glasses, but the pour was pretty solid, and you can’t beat a Guinness on tap no matter what vessel it comes in.
Saw this bread mix at the store the other day. I took a picture and my son asked me why I was so obsessed with Guinness. He’ll know some day. My wife asked me why I didn’t get it. It really would have made for a nice pour video.
I checked FedEx and the Mr. Beer system should be at my house any minute. I ordered some extra hopped malt, and regular hops, to supplement the brewing stuff it comes with. Who wants to spend all that time and come out with bad beer? I expect to put everything together on Saturday.
On April 24 Guinness will be introducing a new stout. This will be the first new stout introduced to the US since Guinness started importing here in 1967. It will only be available for a limited time, around 6 months. You can bet we will be enjoying some of this on April 24.
This brew will pack a little more punch. The alcohol content of the 250 Anniversary stout is 5%, the Traditional stout clocks in at 4.2%.
Pouring will be different too. The anniversary stout is poured once at an angle. Unlike the 2 step process used for Guinness draught.
Do you have a video of you or someone else getting their Guinness on? Send us a link, we'd love to post it on the blog.
