Here is our second pour of the week. This one features the “There’s nothing like a Guinness” glass. In all honesty this one is a little flat. Settled a bit too quickly. But look at that glass! That glass is pretty cool!
There’s nothing like a Guinness.
March 16th, 2010after work Guinness Pour.
March 15th, 2010Welcome to St. Patrick’s Week (It needs more than a day). We were going to start the week off with the St. Patrick’s Parade in Somerville, NJ. Those plans were delayed due to all the rain we are getting. The parade has been rescheduled for next week (3/21/2010). We are planning on bringing you 5 videos this week, so keep checking back!
This pour is with a new pint glass. Our local pub (Manion’s) is giving away a pint glass with classic Guinness ads every Friday in March. This is the first in that series. I know some days after work I’m waiting to get home to enjoy a pint of the Black Stuff. We actually missed the first Friday, but Dennis was awesome and saved a glass for us!
TGIG
March 5th, 2010We’re up at Manions in Somerville. Sam is enjoing a pint. They pokies games are giving out free Guinness glasses every Friday. Two more weeks left.
Happy New Year! Once in a Black and Blue Moon Guinness Pour.
December 31st, 2009Happy New Year! As you may know, tonight there is a Blue Moon (2nd full moon in a month). These come around every 2.5 years or so, but they only happen on New Years every 19 years. To commemorate tonight’s Blue Moon, the Blue Moon brewery released a special Grand Cru. We were planning to do a Black and Blue pour for tonight, but this Blue Moon Grand Cru makes the occasion even more spectacular. Too bad it’s overcast here tonight so we aren’t going to get to see the real Blue Moon. (Oh, and as you can see we finally got the new cans in NJ!)
Don’t forget a blue moon also means a new Smurf will be born tonight!
The Guinness Gentlemen’s Collection
December 10th, 2009We found a great selection of Guinness items on rest of their Guinness merchandise for some nice products. This shop is in the UK so prices are in pounds and if you’d like your item for the holiday, you may want to order soon!
Plenty of holiday cheer!
December 4th, 2009If you’ve been a good boy or girl this year, perhaps Santa will bring you this Guinness Kule Kube Refrigerator! Dan found this amazing item for $179.99 on www.guinnesswebstore.com
Based on the customer reviews, it holds about 40 cans of your favorite beverage! Seems perfect for any “man cave (or castle)”, bar, dorm, office (if you’ve got it like that) or home!
Holiday Shopping List
November 28th, 2009I’m not sure if you should wear these fashionable Guinness socks or hang them above the mantle in hopes that they get filled with more Guinness swag. Either way, you can purchase these bad boys for $9.99 at www.wearyourbeer.com
Happy Thanksgiving Guinness Pour
November 26th, 2009Happy Thanksgiving. We’re in Buffalo to celebrate with family. Since we’re here we figured the Buffalo Bills glass was apropos. As you know we got Guinness in the new cans, they’re pretty cool. We’ve been playing Pictionary Man so figured we’d throw him and a pumpkin pie in too.
New Guinness Cans!
November 25th, 2009XXXX Guinness Pour
November 20th, 2009Some old friends we haven’t seen in a while came by the other night. We had to do a pour. Don’t think we’ve done four at once yet so here you go. Love the sound at the beginning. Wonder if there is a Guinness World Record on the number of simultaneous pours. Maybe we’ll have to set something like that up.
